Registering the birth of a child
All births must be declared to the register of the place of birth.
This declaration must be made within 10 days, not including the day of delivery.
As most births take place either at the “Maternité” or at “Clinique privée Dr Bohler”, the birth declaration must be made before the registrar of the City of Luxembourg.
